This morning three Bolton MRT team members journeyed to the Force Headquarters of Lancashire Constabulary, which was playing host to the Annual General Meeting followed by the Business Meeting of our national body, MREW – Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

The meeting took its usual form of meetings of Sub Committees during the morning, followed by the AGM and Business meeting in the afternoon.

Elaine Gilliland was present in her capacity as MPSRO Regional Training Officer, and also as MPSRO representative to MREW, Steve Nelson was present in his capacity as SARDA Wales representative to MREW, whilst Dave Marsh attended on NSARDA business, as well as representing the Bolton MRT on behalf of our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE who normally attends, but was unable to do so for this particular meeting.
