Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

27th May 2015

This last weekend team member Nick Berry went away with his wife for a few days break in Derbyshire.
Whilst away, his casualty care skills were called upon, as the following kind email received by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE this evening shows;

“I’m writing to say thank you to Nick who came to my daughter’s rescue this weekend whilst camping in Derbyshire.
She cut her finger badly with a knife and he heard us and rushed over to help.

He bandaged her up and re dressed the wound the next day.

Many thanks, Joanna Villalard .”

Quite often whilst out and about, our members skills are called upon when they chance across accidents and injuries, such as road accidents, and they can immediately lend their skills to help, which they have acquired as mountain rescue team members.
