Congratulations are extended to our latest Full Team Call Out List Member, 43 years old Gary Melia of Westhoughton.

Gary Melia has just completed his 12 month long Trainee Team membership period with the team, which included attending our Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue weekend in October.

Gary a barber, started his connection with the team by hosting a team Collection Box at his Radcliffe town centre business premises, this led to him joining our Support Group, where he became an enthusiastic member of our Support Group.

He transferred to the operational part of the team as a Trainee Team member, and has now been accepted as a Full Team member.

Gary, a keen hill walker, has the full support of his wife and two young children (who are enthusiastic washers of our team vehicles on monthly valet days) and describes himself as having model good looks (Webmaster – is this the same Gary Melia we know in the team?)
