Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following kind email from Shaun Walton of LFRS regarding our involvement in the moorland wildfire of yesterday evening (which was also sent to United Utilities and Bay Search and Rescue Team);

From a Lancashire perspective please accept my thanks and appreciation for your agencies attendance at the wildfire fire on Winter Hill yesterday, I was really pleased with the response you kindly provided and it really made a difference to the incident outcome.

It is pleasing that the time we have taken planning for these incident types can be actioned promptly when required to good effect in a challenging environment.
