This evening at 18.55hrs our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh, met at Leverhulme Park, Bolton, with Mick Spiers, the organiser of the Midweek MTB Madness mountain bike event to be held on Wednesday evening, 8th July 2015 in and around Leverhulme Park.

The team has been asked, and has agreed to provide, standby rescue cover for this six lap event, which will attract a field of a maximum of 100 competitors in various categories.

The purpose of tonight’s meeting was for Mick to walk Garry and Chris around the course, to familiarise them with this new ‘SRC’ event for the team.

An hour later and now much wiser as to the route of what will be a challenging course, this visit was concluded.

The team will be on hand at this event on Wednesday evening 8th July starting with the practice laps at 18.00hrs leading to the main race start at 19.15hrs, with an estimated event finish time of 20.30hrs.
