This afternoon, our Equipment Officer – Ropes and Stretchers Nigel Booth, Training Officer Alistair Greenough, Trainee members Heath Doran and Gary Melia, all met at GMFRS Bolton Central Community Fire Station to undertake some rope work training.

This was to practise further some techniques to be introduced to the wider team membership over the next four Wednesday evening training sessions, and at ad hoc additional training opportunities.

Nigel Booth, who is a GMFRS Watch Manager at Bolton North Community Fire Station, introduced his three team colleagues to the training venue and opportunities provided by the training building / facility at GMFRS Bolton Central Community Fire Station.
