Further to the visit to the team on Sunday 26th July 2015 by The High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Sharman Birtles JP, DL. (see website news report dated the same) today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following very kind letter from Sharman, dated Monday 27th July 2015;

“Dear Garry,

I just wanted to thank you and your members for making Grahame and I so welcome yesterday.

We found our visit most enjoyable and extremely interesting.

The very wide range of the Team’s skills was easily apparent and you are all to be congratulated on your dedication to helping people who have suffered some sort of misfortune.

I wish Bolton Mountain Rescue Team continued success in all you do.
