This weekend our Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dog handler Steve Nelson, his team colleague Elaine Gilliland and Trailing Search Dog Boris all took part in the monthly SARDA Wales training exercise.

Handlers and their search dogs from SARDA Wales were based for part of the time on Snowdon summit where they held a fundraising and public awareness exhibition. They were accompanied by supporters including those who act as search dog “bodies” when training.

Steve Nelson and Elaine Gilliland are members of Bolton MRT and are also members of SARDA Wales.
