Similar to a great many other charities, we unfortunately suffer the occasional theft of a team collection box – which is always hard hitting as it is an important part of our our overall team fundraising efforts.

This evening, as team members were gathering at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to present a lecture to Bolton and District Group of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, a kindly team supporter called and handed over to our Equipment Officer – Water David Cook, who was present, a generous £20.00 cash donation to the team.

We are very grateful to Stuart Martindale of Bromley Cross for this kindness, particularly as he stated, this was to help a little given we’d had some recent thefts of collection boxes which he had read about.
