This evening at 19.00hrs, we warmly welcomed to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ over twenty guests from our friends at Lostock Athletics Club, who had arrived to handover another wonderful donation to the team, as thanks for the help we provide to Lostock Athletics Club by providing standby rescue cover at their annual Henderson’s End Fell Race (scheduled next year for Thursday evening, 2nd June 2016)

A truly marvellous donation of £300.00 was handed over by Clive Worthington, Chairman of Lostock Athletics Club, to the team being accepted by our Chairman Craig Lamb in front of assembled team members.

All present from Lostock Athletics Club, who have visited us before, were then given an overview of current team operations by Craig Lamb, who then alongside our Equipment Officer – Water David cook and our Team Leader Garry rhodes MBE, took all in to our Base / HQ garage, to show all the two based Land Rover Defender Mountain Rescue Ambulances, and show some of the comprehensive search and rescue equipment contained on board each.

All too soon it was time for our guests to depart, most of whom were in running kit to immediately hit the streets for their Wednesday evening road run training.

All the team membership expresses its sincere thanks to all at Lostock Athletics Club fro this absolutely wonderful latest donation, and for their continued and appreciated support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
