Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

18th October 2015

Our Ford Transit Minibus / Ambulance is our only vehicle still kept in open storage, being parked in the courtyard to our Base / HQ at Ladybridge Hall.

As such it gets dirtier a lot quicker than our other five vehicles which are all kept in garage accommodation.

Due to the proximity of large trees nearby, sadly our Minibus also suffers from leaf residue / deposits.

Today seven team members spent time thoroughly cleaning the exterior of this vehicle, to restore the paintwork and particularly clean off detritus from the edge of the vehicles side decalling.

Once more it is now gleaming.

Team members Mike Marsh and Equipment Officer – Communications and Lighting (and IT) meanwhile spent time upgrading some of our It and mapping systems.

Our Training Officer Alistair Greenough and our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE spent the day engaged in planning for our forthcoming multi team ‘Exercise Autumn Gold,’ which is scheduled to take place on Sunday 22nd November 2015, in the general area of Georges Lane / Brown Hill on the fringes of Rivington Moor.
