Yesterday we reported within our website on our ‘Mountain Rescue Awareness Day’ held for Trainee Nurse Students from the University of Bolton.
The students who are all studying at the University of Bolton, have nursing experience placements at The Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley General Hospital in Lancashire.
This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following kind email from Greg Bleakley of the University of Bolton;
“Dear Garry and team,
I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude with the Mountain Rescue event you arranged yesterday.
Speaking with the attending students I think they gained a great deal from the experience.
Speaking with my fellow colleagues that attended there is scope to develop this day further.
Thanks to all the volunteers that kindly offered their time to support our student nurses.
This was greatly appreciated and humbling.
I will ask the students to formally evaluate the day and feedback.
From my perspective, I thought it was excellent and looking forward to future collaboration.
In great admiration for the fantastic work you do.
With best wishes, Greg.
