Whilst on the SARDA Wales monthly training weekend, at 06.30hrs early this morning, our Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dog Handler Steve Nelson, with Trailing Search Dog Boris, and Elaine Gilliland as navigator, were called out to join North Wales Police, NEWSAR and other search assets, in relation to a missing person search enquiry and operation in the area of Bodelwyddan Hospital, North Wales.

They departed the SARDA Wales exercise venue, but upon reaching the Llanfairfechan area they were stood down with the resolution of this search operation, and journeyed back to rejoin the SARDA Wales training weekend.
