In an almost repeat (time wise) of yesterday, and whilst still on the SARDA Wales monthly training weekend, at 06.30hrs early this morning, our Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dog Handler Steve Nelson, with Trailing Search Dog Boris, and Elaine Gilliland as navigator, were called out to join North Wales Police, other SARDA Wales assets and NEWSAR, regarding a missing male in the Welsh border area around Whitchurch, Cheshire.

Steve, Boris and Elaine all arrived at the search RVP and were sourcing a ‘scent item’ to utilise in their envisaged search when thankfully the missing person was located, and  all search assets involved were stood down.
