Today saw three team members complete another weekend of SARDA training activities.

Team members Elaine Gilliland and Steve Nelson, both of SARDA Wales, attended the SARDA Wales monthly training weekend alongside Trailing Search Dog Boris.

Whilst present on this weekend, Bolton MRT member and Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dog Handler Steve Nelson, alongside his usual navigator Elaine Gilliland, with Trailing Search dog Boris, were called out to two separate search incidents, on Saturday and Sunday, 7th and 8th November – see Incident Reports numbered 83 and 85 within our ‘News’ pages.

Meanwhile this same weekend, Bolton MRT member Jess Ellsmore was undertaking more consolidation training as she nears her SARDA England Mountain Rescue Novice Air Scenting Search Dog grading next year, with her Trainee Search Dog Blitz.
