2016 sees our regional body – MPSRO, hosting the annual Princes Charity Day, which has been hosted over a good many years now by the many regional mountain rescue organisations throughout England and Wales.
Today saw a planning meeting take place, with representatives invited to attend from all five constituent MPSRO Mountain Rescue Teams, to set a date for the 2016 Princes Charity Day and discuss venue options.
Co ordinating the meeting and the future MPSRO Day was Bolton MRT member Elaine Gilliand, who alongside Bolton MRT colleague Steve Nelson, formed the two Bolton MRT representatives at todays meeting (with their other team colleagues at the PPE Day or attending todays Exercise Autumn Gold – all round a busy day today for Bolton MRT members)
