Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following very kind email from Leanne Postlethwaite, of Darwen Dashers Running Club, the organiser of this years David Staff Memorial Race, held on Sunday 29th November 2015 upon Darwen Moor;

“Hi Garry and the team,

I just want to say a massive thank you for all of your hard work on Sunday at the David Staff Memorial Race.

The race definitely couldn’t go ahead without you all and your advice on weather conditions was definitely needed so please pass on my thanks to everyone who was involved, especially Mark Scott as my start/finish liaison.

Knowing he was there to speak to whenever I needed to definitely kept me calm 🙂

We’ve booked the race date for next year which is Sunday 27 November 2016.

I’ll be in touch next year but hopefully you and your team will be available again.

I’ve also spoken to the Treasurer of our club and asked for a £100 donation to be sent to you as a thank you.

Hope you all have a very merry Christmas and I’ll speak to you in 2016.

The team will be attending the 2016 Memorial Race, in a continuation of the support we readily provide to our many friends at Darwen Dashers Running Club.
