Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

7th December 2015

Early this morning very experienced team member Mark Scott journeyed to Stockport for the scheduled meeting of the Greater Manchester Area Chain of Survival Steering Group meeting, to find others also there, but that the meeting had been cancelled unfortunately at short notice, due to many NWAS attendees being present at the Cumbria flooding incident.

A scheduled Lancashire Fire Operations Group organised and facilitated by LFRS, due to take place tomorrow, and usually attended by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and colleague team member Nigel Booth, has also been cancelled due to the deployment of many LFRS and other attendees at flooding incidents in Lancashire and Cumbria.

Both meetings will obviously be rescheduled, and attended by the team in future
