On Sunday 19th December 2015, long time Team Support Group member Iain Clarkson visited GMP Scholey Street Police Station in Bolton, to sell some of our Team Christmas cards to team friend and valued supporter PC Mel (Melanie) Jackson.
Whilst there, Iain was given a Christmas Card for the team from Mel, and was then surprised to realise that it contained a wonderful £40.00 cash donation from all at GMP Scholey Street, to support the work of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
The whole team membership would like to express its thanks to PC 01832 Mel Jackson, and all her colleagues at Scholey Street, for this thoughtful Christmas gift, with our wishes to all at Scholey Street, for a Happy and very safe Christmas and New Year.
