Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

28th December 2015

Its not only thanks we have received from members of the public, regards our involvement in the flooding incidents at Prestolee and Lower Broughton of Boxing Day, Saturday 26th December 2015.

Team member Sam McKay, an Accident and Emergency Nurse, who was working on Boxing Day, and lives in the area affected, contacted our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE with this very kind text today;

“I would like to thank you and all the team for your help and support on Boxing Day in my local community, luckily my house is ok.

I won’t be available today, it’s my first day off work and I’m going round to the church to help out with anything that needs doing.”
