Today our Equipment Officer – Water David Cook was at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ carrying out some essential maintenance and repair work to both our semi rigid 3.4 metre inflatable SAR Boat and its engine, both of which suffered a few knocks, bumps and scrapes during use on the recent Boxing Day flood incidents.
A trip to Liverpool for some urgent spare parts solved the engine issue (engine gear link) whilst David reports all other minor repairs are in hand.
