Huge thanks to our friends at Bridgedale clothing, in particular product manager Chris Gordon, for supplying the team with 164(!!) pairs of hiking socks – totally free of charge – as part of their continuing support of Mountain Rescue Teams.

Having rescuers with warm & comfortable feet is a vital requirement – we’re happiest when we’ve got warm toes!

Bridgedale supplied a similar number of socks to us back in December 2014 – and with a team of around 45 operational members, we get through quite a few pairs of socks, so these will be really welcome.
