Today saw experienced Bolton MRT team member and DVSD Search Dog Handler Dave Marsh, return from a long weekend deployment to Ireland, taking in both the Republic and Northern Ireland, engaged on a search of a river in the Strabane area for a missing person.

Dave who is a member of SARDA Ireland North, journeyed over the Irish Sea on Friday morning, with DVSD (Drowned Victims Search Dog) Search Dog Sasha, and spent Friday late afternoon and evening in briefings regards the missing person.

On Saturday 5th March, Dave with Sasha, in the company of one other DVSD Search Dog, Foyle River Rescue and other search assets, spent the full day (upto midnight!) engaged on the search operation.
