Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

4th May 2016

This evening our Team Chair, Gill Leigh, and other team members, were pleased to welcome to our HQ Mrs Heather Aspbury, her son Jake and daughter Alicia who had been invited to view the plaque which has been commissioned and dedicated to the memory of the late Dr John Aspbury and will be displayed on our HQ memories wall.  Accompanying Heather and her family were close friends Malcolm and Liz Austin.

H Aspbury FamilyBolton Mountain Rescue Team had benefitted from donations totalling £720.57 in memory of Dr Aspbury who sadly died in January 2016 – see website articles dated 21st January, 26th February and 11th March 2016. We are very grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness shown by Heather and her family in considering the Team to benefit from such a sad time for them.

After photographs were taken, and before leaving our HQ, the guests were shown one of our Mountain Rescue Land Rover Ambulances and equipment as team members were preparing to depart for their Wednesday evening training exercise.
