Today three operational members and two support group members travelled to the centre of Darwen to attend the Darwen 999 day.

We were invited by PCSO Nick Gisicz, along with resources from North West Ambulance Service, Lancashire Fire & Rescue, Police Mounted Branch and staff from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.

The team had a selection of merchandise and cakes for sale, together with a Land Rover ambulance and our control vehicle.

The team would like to thank all people who took the time to visit and talk to the team, and to the people dropped coins and notes into our collection buckets, raising £145.34 today.
