30th July 2016

Today saw the first practical exams for the Mountain Rescue Casualty Care course.

We are pleased to announce seven team members successfully passed the assessment today which consists of two scenarios, a medical incident and a trauma incident. Of the seven, it was three of the team members first time they have taken the assessment, namely Steve James, Matthew Morris and Rasti Schweizer. Congratulations from all your colleagues.

The team would like to thank Dr Adam Dierckx of Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team and David Matthews of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team for assessing all team members today. We would also like to thank Alison Greenough, wife of Team Leader Alistair, and Trainee James Shaw for assisting by being exercise casualties today.
