We have received a donation of £25.00 from Bolton CHA Walking Club in memory of their long-standing and respected member, Mr Mike Allen, who sadly passed away in July.  He was a member of the club for some thirty-to-forty years and had made it known to the members that he preferred a donation to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team in lieu of a wreath for his funeral.

In the letter accompanying the donation, the Club Treasurer, Frank Wall, expressed the club members’ admiration for our organisation and the work we carry out.

Our team members are grateful for such kind words and we offer our thanks for the donation and belated condolences on the loss of their respected club member, Mike Allen.
