Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

21st September 2016

On Monday Alan Carl, the father of the young man involved in the incident near Rivington Pike on Sunday afternoon left a cheque for the team at our Ladybridge Hall base with electrical contractors who were working on our external lighting.

Martin Banks our Treasurer contacted Alan to thank him for his kind donation.  Alan informed Martin that his son was fortunately not too seriously injured. He was also very grateful for the swift response from the North West Air Ambulance, NWAS, and ourselves. Alan had handed over over a fantastic £100 donation to our team. We understand that Alan will be making a similar donation to the North West Air Ambulance by way of thanks.

We are pleased to hear that Alan’s son is making a recovery and are very grateful for this kind and thoughtful donation.
