We have recently received a generous donation of £100 from Leigh & District Rambling Club – their Secretary, Dianne Fazackerley, explained in her accompanying letter that the club has a Charity Fund and each year gives support to various Mountain Rescue Teams in their walking area.  They currently have 130 members and run six groups, with fortnightly Sunday walks within a 120 mile radius.

Leigh & District Rambling Club has been supporting our work with donations for many years, which we are very grateful to receive.  We offer them our thanks and best wishes for enjoyable walks for the future.
