Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

10th November 2016

This evening, two of our team members visited the meeting of Bromley Cross Women’s Institute at the Cornerstone Baptist Church on Lord’s Stile Lane, to tell their forty members about our search and rescue work.

At the end of the evening, our Equipment Officer (Water), Dave Cook, and trainee team member, Michael Stevenson, were presented with a generous donation of £50 from the group;  the ladies present then had an impromptu collection and donated an amazing further £118. Not only that, but there was also a promise that money raised in lieu of sending Christmas cards to each other would be donated to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team too!

Many thanks to the members of Bromley Cross Women’s Institute for their wonderful support of and interest in our work.
