Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd December 2016

In August 2015, the congregation of Egerton United Reformed Church acquired an AED (external defibrillator) and wished to have some instruction in its use.  Our team member and Equipment Officer (Water), Dave Cook, was invited to pass on his AED and CPR skills gained as a member of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

He was recently asked, once again, to demonstrate the use of the AED to Egerton United Reformed Church members and he accepted their invitation.  As thanks for his instruction, the members wished to make a donation to him – but Dave kindly gave up his time for free and suggested that, instead, the members may like to make a charitable donation to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and we are pleased to report receipt of £64.00.

Thank you to Dave for this thoughtful donation and for passing on your skills to Egerton United Reformed Church members for the benefit of the community.
