On 10th November 2016, our team member, Dave Cook (Equipment Officer, Water) and trainee member, Mike Stevenson, visited Bromley Cross Women’s Institute meeting to tell them about our search and rescue work.

The Group made a kind donation of £50, with a wonderful additional impromptu £118 raised by the ladies at the meeting and a promise of a further donation in lieu of sending each other Christmas cards.

True to that promise, we have now received the very welcome sum of £33.90 from the Group’s Secretary, Mrs Anne Bradley, with greetings to all our members for Christmas and the coming year.

We, in turn, would like to offer our best wishes to Bromley Cross Women’s Institute for 2017 and thank them for their kind support of our work.
