From 10:00 to 18:00 today, our team members were busy operating a rota holding a charity collection in Morrisons store at Blackhorse Street, Bolton. Five of our Support Group members, joined by two operational team members, were on hand with leaflets and display boards to answer questions about our work and to receive kind donations from the store’s customers.

Although there was an emergency call-out during the afternoon which necessitated two collectors leaving the store to respond, we collected the sum of £132.64 towards our work.

We would like to thank the management of Morrisons and their Community Champion Sidra Irshad for granting permission for us to collect in their store, and of course, thanks to their customers who took the time from their shopping to drop their donations into our collection buckets.
