Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

March has been a busy month for welcoming interested groups to our HQ to find out more about our voluntary search and rescue work.

On 2nd March, five of our team members hosted an evening visit by  24th/38th Moorland Beaver Scouts and their Leaders.

On 21st March it was the turn of 25th Bolton (Lostock) Cubs to visit us for just over an hour.

On 30th March, seven of our members welcomed 1st Lowton Cub Pack to tell them about our work and show them some of our equipment.

Now we are in April and report a visit on 4th April by “Ignite”, a new Explorer Unit in Horwich, joined by members of another Explorer Unit based in Breightmet.. Six of our members hosted the visit of one and a half hours.

We hope all our visitors enjoyed their evenings and benefited from the knowledge gained from our team members – who knows, some of them may well be future members of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team!
