We have received a kind donation of £50 from Eccles Rambling and Social Club.  In his letter, Honorary Club Secretary, Robert Pritchard, expressed the members’ appreciation of our work and efforts on behalf of their and other walking clubs, stating that their leaders gain great comfort from knowing that Mountain Rescue Teams are available should they get into difficulties out in the countryside.

Eccles Ramblers & Social Club was established in 1946 and when they celebrated their 60th Anniversary ten years ago, they kindly donated one of their Anniversary Patches to our team. As they have just celebrated their 70th Anniversary in 2016, they have sent one of their Commemorative Badges for our memorabilia collection. The Club has been supporting Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for many years, which is always appreciated, and we wish them many more years of enjoyable walks in the local countryside.
