Today, whilst the operational team members were involved with the Edgworth Reservoir Challenge 10K race, our Support Group member, Iain Clarkson, attended the Family Fun Day at The Barlow, Edgworth.

Iain tells us it was a great day with many visitors to the event.  As well as Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, also present were St John Ambulance, Community Police and for the children there were inflatable rides including an assault course, hook-a-duck, bran tubs, target bowls and children’s races.  Inside The Barlow were craft and food stalls, with food and drinks also available.

Iain would like to thank the many visitors who showed an interest in our work and made donations totalling £25.13.
