Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th August 2017

Today we received in the post from long standing friend and supporter of the team, David Bisset, a letter enclosing a thoughtful £50.00 donation towards our work. Way back in August 2005, David and his son, Iain Bisset, were climbing at Ousel Nest Quarry, Chapeltown, when Iain suffered injuries in a climbing accident, to which the team and the ambulance service were called.

Iain thankfully went on to make a full recovery, and soon went back to rock climbing at a high standard, and since this time has also travelled and worked abroad extensively.

Since the accident, David has been a valued, stalwart and very much appreciated, regular supporter and friend of the team.
