Team Members Nigel Booth and Mike Marsh attended a joint Rope Rescue Training day hosted by Rossendale and Pendle MRT at their Burnley base and later at the Troy Quarry in Haslingden.

The day consisted of an overview of the rope rescue equipment carried by both teams and the techniques used, followed by a practical session covering the basic lowering and raising techniques of a Rescuer and Stretcher, including the use of the Tripod.
