Way back in January 1996, Bolton Mountain Rescue Team was called to a sledging accident on Rivington Pike and assisted Mrs Deborah Garlick of Warrington, who had spinal injuries.  Ever since that accident, Deborah and her husband, John, have been supporting our team with donations, especially at Christmas time, plus nearly £2,300 from a charity skydive John undertook in 2015.

We have now received a cheque for £60 from Deborah’s parents, Mr & Mrs P Minery of Brookhouse, Nr Lancaster, who recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary and asked for donations to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team in lieu of gifts.  Thank you to them for this kind gesture and belated congratulations on reaching this special milestone.
