Our readers may remember back in March, we reported that a Bolton based event organising company Enriched Events made Bolton MRT their charity of the year.

Over summer they organised a running series called the Edgworth Reservoir Challenge which have now become very popular events attracting large numbers of runners and spectators. The 5k race took part on 7th May, the 10k race on 11th June and the 1/2 marathon on 2nd July with some of our own team members taking part in the 5k and 10k races.

Bolton MRT provided safety and first aid cover for all three races with team members and vehicles positioned at the start & finish and along the route.

This week we are delighted to receive a cheque donation from Enriched events for the fantastic sum of £2,200. Pictured are Enriched Events directors Michelle and Tracy presenting the cheque to Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh and team member John Dickinson.

Bolton MRT would like to thank Michelle and Tracy for their support. We have already been asked to assist with safety cover again at next years 10k race on the 10th June 2018.
