Our friend and supporter, John Barlow of Edgworth, gave a talk to the Rotary Club of Turton about the former hostelries of Edgworth – now down from many to four!  John asked that his speaker’s fee be donated to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and we are pleased to report receipt of a cheque for £40 from the Rotary Club.
