At 15.29hrs this sunny and warm afternoon, the team was paged by NWAS (Lancashire) Broughton EOC Air Desk, regarding our assistance being required.

The pager request was answered by Team Call Out Contact Steve Fletcher, who was informed the incident involved an injured climber at Anglezarke Quarry.

As Anglezarke Quarry is within the primary operational response area of our colleagues at Bowland Pennine MRT, the call was passed to them, with an appropriate emergency response then being made by BPMRT (Please see BPMRT website for news of this incident)
