Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

22nd June 2012

On Saturday 12th May 2012, we happily provided our usual standby rescue cover for the annual Belmont Village Fell Races.

This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a very kind letter from Dave Bateson, the organiser of the Belmont Fell Races, with an enclosed very kind £200.00 donation for the Bolton MRT.

“Many thanks to your team for again attending the races. A fine day at last, with no major problems.”

“Thanks to the Belmont residents Association, individual donations, sponsorship again from Bank Top Brewery, and support from Lancashire Constabulary and yourselves, we were able to stage the event successfully. We are very pleased to be able to donate a cheque for £200.000 to yourselves.”

The whole team membership extends its sincere thanks to all associated with this wonderful and very thoughtful donation.

We are of course fully committed to supporting the 2013 Belmont Fell Races on Saturday 11th May 2013.
