Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd November 2014

On Thursday 30th October 2014 we attended the Resilience Awareness Day ‘Get Ready for Winter’ at Victoria Square, Bolton (Please see website ‘news’ report dated the same)

This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following kind email from Cath Nally, Bolton MBC Civil Contingencies Officer, circulated to all organisations that took part in Thursday’s event ;

“Dear all, Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all those who took part in our Get Ready for Winter event last Thursday.
I hope you found the day to be as successful as we did and thankfully the weather kept fine right until the end.

The Mayor seemed to be particularly impressed with all the different organisations who gave up their time to support the event and the feedback so far has been very positive.

As I don’t have email addresses for everyone who took part please pass on my thanks to others in your teams who attended and I look forward to working with you all again to make 2015 an even bigger success next year!

Thanks also to my colleague Debbie whose organisational skills are second to none

Thanks again, best regards, Cath.

Cath Nally, Civil Contingencies Officer, Bolton MBC.”

The Bolton MRT will be supporting the fourth Resilience Awareness Day ‘Get Ready for Winter’ scheduled for late October 2015, as we have supported the previous three events.
