Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd December 2014

We are very pleased to report the receipt of the following kind email sent to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE from our friend Jonathan Stubbs, of Darwen Dashers Running Club, regarding our provision of standby rescue cover at their David Staff Memorial Charity Fell Race of Sunday 30th November 2014 (please see website ‘News’ report dated the same)

”Hi Garry.

On behalf of Darwen Dashers and all the participants I’d like to say a big thank you for attending the David Staff Memorial Fell Race this weekend.

Although there were no mishaps reported, it is always very reassuring to know that you and your team are out on the course.

Once I’ve sorted the takings I will, as usual, be making donations to BMRT and Cardiac Risk In The Young.

Many thanks, Jonathan Stubbs, Race Organiser & Darwen Dashers Running Club Chairman.”

The Bolton MRT appreciates the support of all our valued friends at Darwen Dashers Running Club, and we are always happy to assist them by providing standby rescue cover at their local events.
