Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

7th December 2014

At 15.46hrs this cold wet and very damp afternoon, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was contacted directly by NWAS (Greater Manchester) Parkway EOC for the teams assistance.

An NWAS Emergency Ambulance was reported stuck bogged down on a playing field with a casualty on board, following a response to a sports field injury in the area of Park Lane, Whitefield.

NWAS were requesting that the team respond to recover their Emergency Ambulance back to firm ground.

As details were being collected by Garry, the Ambulance was recovered by a grounds maintenance tractor, and without any further response being made the team was no longer required.

This request for the team is noted here for the information and interest of our readers and does not feature in our incident listings.
