Tonight at 19.00hrs saw our six remaining probationary members, Heath Doran, Neil Haigh, Steve James, Matthew Morris, Rasti Schweizer and Carole Truman, all put through a team equipment ‘no notice’ familiarity test by our Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh, at their eighth probationary training session this evening.

All passed with flying colours, in the use of our vacuum splintage equipment and MIBS Stretcher.

Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE (following discussion with our Training Officer Alistair Greenhough, who could not attend tonight due to work) then formally invited all six members to consider carefully his invitation now for them to progress if they wish to accept the opportunity, on to our twelve month long ‘Trainee Team Member’ period.

Next week, all six will have a short interview with our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh and Training Officer Alistair Greenough, at which their availability for call out will be further discussed, alongside their likely attendance at team events now our Training and Events Programme for 2015 has been further detailed.
