Yesterday – Tuesday 20th January, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was contacted by a GMP Missing Person Search Manager, regarding the assistance of MRTs to a missing person search enquiry in the Greater Manchester area.

Given the circumstances, a multi team response has been planned, between ourselves and two neighbouring MRTs, should continuing GMP enquiries not locate the person in the meantime.

Should the search be confirmed, this evening various preparations by our team were made, including our plan to cater for all three teams and GMP who will be present, requiring the assistance of our Support Group members to crew our Catering Trailer Unit.

At present we have thirty team operational members and three members of our Support Group volunteering to attend this ‘pre planned’ search tasking.
