On Thursday 8th March this year, Our Team President Bob Hutchinson, Team Life Vice President Tony McNally and Dave Marsh, all met up with the very keen and interested pupils of Year 5, Eagley Junior School, Chapeltown Road, Bromley Cross, Bolton, to talk about the work of the team, having taken with them one of our Team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances.
Today we are pleased to report on the receipt of a fantastic thank-you card, made and signed by all the Year 5 pupils who were present at the visit.
The large card is now proudly on display at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ, the back of the card carries the very nice message from a member of staff ;
“To Bob, tony and Dave.”
“Thank-you so much for coming down to Eagley Junior School to talk to the children about what you do. They all absolutely loved it and were talking about it for ages ! We also used it to create some outdoor learning for the children, in which they had to use their skills to audition for a place in Scott’s team ready for his expedition to Antarctica !”
“I know you are all busy and really appreciate the time that you took to come and see us.”
“Thank-you so much ! With best wishes.”
The inside of the card is filled with best wishes from all the Year 5 pupils, with some examples of their kind words here ;
