During the conclusion of Incident 27/2012, the crew of our BM3 vehicle at 14.45 were approached by a small family party with their niece aged 10 years old, requesting assistance as the young girl had fallen on the Rivington Pike track sustaining a painfull and very swollen knee injury.

She was assessed, and then transported in our BM3 vehicle, with a family member back to the families car at the Great House Barn Information Centre in Lever Park, Rivington.

Other family members were escorted walking back to their car by team members.
This incident concluded at 15.25hrs, with the family taking the young girl themselves to hospital.

In total out of the seventeen team members present, five were directly involved in this incident.
